Our Curriculum Structure
At Bright Little Stars, we have intentionally chosen a range of subjects and facilities to support our integrated curriculum, influenced by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Montessori approach.
By incorporating these subjects into our integrated curriculum, we aim to provide a well-rounded educational experience that supports children's holistic development, encourages their natural curiosity, and prepares them for future academic success and personal growth
Language and Literacy
Language development is crucial for communication and cognitive growth. Through language-rich activities, storytelling, and exposure to diverse literature, we foster a love for reading, vocabulary expansion, and communication skills.
Mathematics
Building a strong foundation in mathematics lays the groundwork for logical thinking, problem-solving, and numeracy skills. Our curriculum incorporates hands-on activities and engaging materials to develop mathematical concepts and reasoning abilities.
Practical Life
Practical life activities instill independence, fine motor skills, and self-care routines. Children engage in tasks such as pouring, dressing, and cleaning, fostering confidence, concentration, and orderliness.
Sensorial Arts
Sensorial exploration stimulates the senses and enhances perceptual development. Through activities involving touch, sight, smell, taste, and hearing, children refine their senses, observe patterns, and make connections.
Cultural Arts
Cultural Arts: Cultural arts expose children to diverse traditions, customs, and artistic expressions from around the world. This fosters an appreciation for diversity, promotes cultural understanding, and encourages creativity.
Geography
Exploring geography helps children develop an understanding of the world and its different regions. We introduce concepts like continents, countries, and landmarks, fostering global awareness and curiosity about the world we live in.
Botany
Studying botany encourages children to connect with nature, develop an appreciation for plants, and understand the importance of environmental conservation. They engage in activities like gardening, plant care, and exploring the natural world.
Mindfulness
Incorporating mindfulness practices cultivates self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience. We introduce calming techniques, breathing exercises, and mindful activities to support children's overall well-being.
Moral Values
Nurturing moral values and character development is an integral part of our curriculum. We emphasize virtues such as kindness, empathy, respect, and responsibility, fostering a positive and inclusive community.
Physical Education
Physical education promotes gross motor skills, coordination, and overall physical development. Through active play, structured exercises, and sports, children learn the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle.
Profession
Introduces preschool students to various occupations, helping them understand the different roles people play in the community. This lesson aims to broaden their knowledge about the world of work, inspire curiosity, and develop respect for various professions.
Library Time
Library time exposes children to a wide range of books, encouraging a love for reading, expanding their vocabulary, and nurturing a lifelong passion for learning.
STEM
Introduces young children to basic concepts in these fields through hands-on, playful, and age-appropriate activities. The aim is to spark curiosity, encourage problem-solving skills, and lay a foundation for future learning.
Indonesian Studies
Emphasizing Indonesian studies helps children develop an understanding and appreciation of the local culture, language, traditions, and values of Indonesia.
Puzzle & Problem-Solving
The "Puzzle and Problem Solving" lesson aims to develop critical thinking, logical reasoning, and fine motor skills in preschool students through engaging and interactive activities. These activities help children learn how to approach challenges, develop persistence, and find solutions in a fun and supportive environment.

Registration Timeline
Thinking of enrolling your child to our Preschool & Kindergarten? Here are the steps:
1. Research & Explore
Begin your preschool journey by getting to know us better! Schedule a tour with our principal or supervisor to explore our classrooms, meet our teachers, and experience our warm, engaging learning environment firsthand. This is the perfect opportunity to ask questions, understand our programs, and see if our school is the right fit for your child.
2. Readiness Assessment
Your child will join a fun, interactive session that feels just like a trial class — but with added purpose. During this visit, our teachers will gently observe and assess your child’s developmental readiness, learning style, and social interaction to ensure they’re ready for preschool.
3. Consultation with Principal
After the readiness assessment, you’ll meet with our principal or supervisor to discuss the results and share insights about your child. This one-on-one consultation helps us understand your expectations, address any questions, and ensure we create the most supportive learning path tailored to your child’s needs.
4. Notification of Acceptance
Within one week after the readiness assessment, you’ll receive an update on your child’s admission status. If accepted, we’ll provide guidance on the next steps for enrollment and preparation. Our goal is to make this process smooth and transparent, keeping you informed every step of the way.
5. Enrollment & Paperwork
Once your child is accepted, it’s time to complete the enrollment process! This includes submitting the registration form, settling the payment, and finalizing any necessary documents. You’ll also receive your child’s uniform — the exciting final step before officially joining our preschool & kindergarten.
